The Self-Realization Fellowship Ox Yoke retreat is located in 29 Palms, California. It is open to Kriyabans over 21 years of age. See the general guidelines for details.

This property was purchased by our founder, Paramahansa Yogananda. It consists of three houses on a square block of property. In 1967 one of the houses was turned over to a lay disciple comittee to develop it into a retreat. A second house was rehabilitated and then dedicated in 1975. About five years ago, the third house and the entire lower half of the property was turned over to the Ox Yoke committee with instructions to develop the property into a compound.

Roads were built, dozens of trees and bushes were planted, watering systems were installed, concrete poured, new roofs were put on, the cactus garden renewed and expanded, and much, much more.
